Welcome to Foot to the Floor
Some journeys start with a spark. Ours began with a pair of push bikes, a shared sense of purpose and a journey of a life time. Starting from London town, across the Southern British Isles and in to the heart land of France, finishing with the streets of Paris beneath our wheels.
Fourteen years ago, Mark and Andy completed a 350-mile cycling challenge over four days, raising funds for Action Medical Research—a children’s charity close to their hearts. That final moment, captured in a photo of them holding one of the bikes aloft in Paris, wasn’t just the end of a ride., it was the cementing of a friendship built on grit, laughter and a love of the open road.
Since then, the wheels have changed, the miles have multiplied and the adventures have grown—but the spirit remains the same. That first ride laid the foundation for everything they’ve built: a passion for travel, a commitment to shared experiences and a belief that the journey is always better when it’s made together.
