Touring Etiquette & Safety Principles

At Foot to the Floor, we believe driving is a pleasure—never a competition. To ensure our tours remain enjoyable, safe and respectful for everyone involved, please take note of the following guidelines:

Safety & Driving Standards

  • Drive responsibly and always observe national and local laws, including posted speed limits.
  • Maintain a courteous driving style, keeping the experience safe and enjoyable for fellow participants and the general public.
  • Dangerous, reckless or antisocial driving is strictly prohibited. Such behaviour may result in exclusion from future tours, expulsion from the trip or termination of membership.

Respect for Others

  • Treat all attendees and their vehicles with consideration—our tours are built around shared passion and mutual respect.
  • Tours are untimed and not competitive. There is no incentive for arriving first at any checkpoint or destination.

Risk Awareness

  • Participation in tours is voluntary and undertaken at your own risk. While we strive to provide a safe experience, Foot to the Floor is not liable for accidents, damage or personal injury.
  • Driving on public roads includes inherent risks. Please ensure you are physically and mentally fit before attending any event and have all relevant insurances and policies in place before you travel.

Communications

  • Two-way radios (walkie talkies) may be used for general information and coordination. However, the use of such devices should not interfere with driving responsibilities and should ideally be operated by passengers.
  • Do not rely solely on radio communication for driving decisions, especially in overtaking scenarios. Misuse may pose serious risk and Foot to the Floor accepts no responsibility for consequences arising from such use.

Personal Responsibility

  • All costs incurred in relation to your vehicle—including fines, penalties or charges remain your responsibility throughout the tour.

Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking Statement

Published: March 2026

Foot To The Floor is committed to conducting all aspects of our business ethically, responsibly and with integrity. We oppose all forms of modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labour and exploitation. Although we are not currently required by law to publish a Modern Slavery Statement under the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015, we believe it is important to be transparent about our values and the steps we take to prevent exploitation within our operations and supply chain.

Our Business

Foot To The Floor provides organised road‑trip packages across the UK and Europe. Our operations are primarily UK‑based and our supply chain includes accommodation providers, activity partners and service suppliers such as vehicle‑related services and travel support.

Our Commitment

We are committed to ensuring that:

  • No form of modern slavery or human trafficking exists within our business or supply chain

  • All suppliers we work with operate ethically and in compliance with local laws

  • We only partner with reputable organisations that share our values

  • We maintain a culture of openness, accountability and zero tolerance for exploitation

Our Supply Chain

Our supply chain is relatively simple and consists mainly of:

  • Accommodation providers

  • Activity and experience partners

  • Travel‑related service providers

  • Technology and administrative service suppliers

We expect all partners to uphold high ethical standards and comply with relevant employment, labour and human rights laws.

Due Diligence

To reduce the risk of modern slavery within our supply chain, we:

  • Work only with established and reputable suppliers

  • Conduct informal checks on new partners before entering into agreements

  • Prioritise suppliers who demonstrate ethical practices

  • Review supplier relationships periodically

As our business grows, we will continue to strengthen our due diligence processes.

Training & Awareness

While our team is small, we ensure that anyone involved in supplier selection or customer operations understands:

  • What modern slavery is

  • How to recognise potential warning signs

  • How to report concerns

We are committed to increasing awareness as our business expands.

Reporting Concerns

We encourage anyone — staff, customers or partners — to raise concerns about potential modern slavery risks. Concerns can be reported confidentially to: tours@foottothefloor.co.uk

We will investigate all concerns promptly and take appropriate action.

Continuous Improvement

Foot To The Floor is committed to continually improving our approach to preventing modern slavery. As our operations grow, we will:

  • Formalise supplier vetting processes

  • Introduce written supplier standards

  • Review and update this statement annually

Approval

This statement has been approved by the Directors of Foot To The Floor and will be reviewed annually.
