Northamptonshire Summer Drive

Join us for this summer sizzler of a drive

Join us on 25th July for a brilliant 97 mile summer drive through the north of Northamptonshire. This route blends flowing countryside roads with historic landmarks, taking us south from the beautiful Elton Furze Golf Club before sweeping past the iconic Naseby battlefield — one of the most significant sites of the English Civil War. It’s a drive rich in scenery, history and pure driving enjoyment.

As always, this event is designed for enthusiasts who simply love their cars and the open road. There’s no racing, no pressure and no complicated format — just a well‑planned route, a friendly group and a shared passion for great driving. Whether you’ve joined us before or you’re discovering our community for the first time, you’ll be welcomed straight in.

Spaces are limited to keep the experience relaxed and enjoyable, so early booking is essential. This drive forms part of our wider programme of free events and paid tours, giving you a perfect taste of what we do.

We'll meet at 8.00am for coffee in the club bar, with a 9.00am sharp departure.

The event cost is £20.00 per car and £10.00 per attendee, £15 if paid on the day.  Cost includes a tea or coffee and breakfast bap on arrival with a coffee at our stop on route.  Additionally, you will have access to the route via the RoadStr app available for download to use on or offline on the day.
